- less time in my head and more in my heart
- playing my guitar at 5am, or 10pm, and every time in between
- tree frogs
- inquisitive goats that watch your every step as you walk by
- and their crazy eyes as you scratch them behind the ears
- a perfect half moon rising through redwood trees
- late night bathroom trip, a 7 minute walk through the woods with a flashlight
- chickens mumbling as you pass the coop late at night
- giant water towers gurgling
- lying on my back and gazing at Orion The Hunter and the Milky Way
- shared meals with passionate, funny, and interesting folks
- downhill twisty windy bike ride to Occidental to meet Laura for breakfast
- paper and kindling and small logs into the cast iron fire box
