it's been amazing here the last few months since i last wrote. Fruit trees flowered and dropped petals like snow and now the trees are heavy with fruit. Some of the trees here were planted by italian immigrants 114 years ago, it's true. it's still so beautiful it sometimes takes my breath away. The North Garden is popping, it's really amazing. There are 140 varieties of tomato plants all blooming, too many to name, but must surely be all that there is in the world?

Wow--you're talking earthly paradise with those fruits & vegetables! Jealous of the pears, because our pear blossoms got nipped by frost this spring; thankfully, the cherries pulled thru.
Hope you're doing well Bernie!
